Hans..That was soot from the fires in southern California..Yes ,,that smoke made it all the way to Phoenix and beyond.

Nice Shot! and Thanks Keelin…All I did was use a pre programed setting for higher contrast and shoot some interesting cloud passing over head. I can’t decide if itz a long eared jackrabbit or the reptilian Arizona Land Shark..or just a cloud still life.

Thank you Ruth ! Thank you Gregory. That was a Monsoon Nimbus Blowout approaching late afternoon, maybe the 3rd shot from the shoot that I’ve posted. Yea I have a soft place in my heart for that event..
