ParticipantThanks Hans. Funny thing is when the undulatus was over head it didn’t even draw the need to be photographed. But when the field hit the hills the winds had their way, lots of unsettled choppy winds just tore the undulatus apart. Holmboe? heck yea! Lucky i had the camera programed for high contrast B&W . Also the lens was almost at the end of its reach..You are correct, much reverence in seeing and being able to photograph such a unique occurrence…You are getting up close as well in Details. such a fine sculpture!

ParticipantWhat I captured in 236 and 237 was a unassuming field of undulatus encountering the first hills leaving the Valley. The winds had a lot of fun with the undulatus.
