  I took these photographs one minute apart. The left part of the cloud appeared to be turning clockwise from my viewpoint. It was breaking up as it did so, and not worth a third photo. Taken in Somerset, UK. The skies were extremely varied at all levels that week – it was windy on the ground and all kinds of windy up above. Trick of the eye/perspective? I could see it slowly moving around.

    Thank you so much! I’ve been away for a week with no wifi signal and I saw the words of your reply in an email that came through in the middle of the night last week, but couldn’t reply. I wasn’t sure if the KH thing was only if it was multiples so I’m delighted!
