I wouldn’t have guessed that. All the photos I’ve seen have lobes. Is this a special or less common form? Here is another photo with more included.

I can see lobes, in the middle, but when they are directly over you they are less visible……

Appears Floccose form. Maybe Cirrocumulus Lacunosus?

Hello Robert, your images show both lacunosus, like Richard suggests. According to ts soft and large features I think it is Altocumulus. The second image has in comparison also the streaky features of Cirrus. That makes me think that some of the altocumulus has developed into cirrus (altocumulogenitus). What do you think?

Thanks Hans. It makes sense to me what you say. It was a great cloud day with many changes over time. I have other photos of lacunosus but not with so little cloud fringe around the holes or so smooth. Here are three more photos showing how it was changing. I need to think about altocumulus developing into cirrus, new to my thinking about cloud formation.
