Yesterday and today I made several attempts to add a reply on the topic about the scent of new rain. They all vanished in the clouds of the internet and didn’t even leave a scent. My last attempt to contribute to the subject is to open this new topic as part II. Pfffff.
I think this link will give some additional / related information on the scent of new rain.

PS: I assume the system does not like simultaneous replies on the same topic. Once a reply failed it seems to be impossible to add a new reply by the same user. Or whatever. I noticed other frustrations in topics about vanishing replies, but I did not experience this kind of trouble so far.
