      I had the luck of having my camera at hand when I spotted this Pileus. Between the first picture and the last are no more then 7 minutes. The cumulus grows through the Pileus until in the last phase on a higher level another layer of Pileus grows.

      Hans, Always hand carry your camera and soon the clouds will be performing  for you. Its like they luv to audition. Nice capture!

      It is a nice way to consider the clouds luv to audition for the camera Michael. I will rememebr that one!

      …… but also there is sometimes the feeling the clouds don’t cooperate while hiding behind obstacles. The secret must be to have a good observation point.
