Well, here is one of the latest images returned to Earth by NASA’s “Juno” spacecraft circling gas giant king planet, Jupiter. Image, courtesy, NASA APOD website.
It shows a new image never seen before of the huge white oval cloud – the size of Earth – and located south of the famous Red Spot. Image taken on 2nd February so it is very recent indeed.
Magnificent, shall I venture to say, almost lurid detail, to say the least. It is like the work of an artist.
