Earth Rise from "our" Moon – Apollo 8 – NASA Image – Earth's swirling clouds

Can  you credit that 5o, yes, 5o years ago NASA’s Apollo 8 moon mission captured this stunning and awesome image of Earth – where we all live upon – rose up, but from the perspective of “our” Moon?

The beauty is to be marvelled.  Our planet somehow survives in an other truly hostile solar environment.

Take time to look at the clouds swirling our “blue / white glassy marble” in space.  Clouds which we depend on for rain, climate control, seasons etc.
