      Hello!

I took these photos in 2018 when there were still leaves on the trees. When I saw them it felt like souls were flying in the sky! So I did my best to document them. Classwise I assume it’s some form of fibrous cumulus clouds, perhaps cirrus? Though they’re so sparse that I thought they must fly lower, with a cool undercurrent, but I’m probably wrong haha! If you have any ideas, please let me know :)

Anyways, I just found them on my computer and wanted to share them with the rest of you, hope you enjoy!DSC_0032 copyDSC_0030 (2)DSC_0034

Hello Robert, thanks for sharing your departing souls. In some way clouds are always departing souls. Nice name you gave them.

cloudwise I think you captured some very nice cirrus uncinus, which is best shown on the third picture. Very nice. Do you have other nice clouds hiding on your computer?

The little cumulus-like clouds produce precipitation in the form of ice crystals and strong air currents below drag those precipitations away. Very ice shot!

Thank you for sharing celestial visions, Robert! I’ve always felt that Cirrus clouds have a way of lifting ones spirits. ;)
