Just curious……
I have often wondered about the above and feel I cannot resist any more about posting this query into the Forum.
This is a bit “tongue in cheek”, so to speak, but I would appreciate an informative response to a question that has been pondering over my conscious for some while, hence, this posting. Maybe someone from the “dark and mysterious stygian depths” of the CAS can provide enlightenment?
Right! When the matter of producing the CAS’s calendar what are the criteria used to judge and select the photos for publication?
Would it be drama? Colour? Impact? Variety? Is there any exclusion to any CAS member having more than one photo published in the calendar? When does the selection of photos take place?
Let me say here in firmness – it must be one heck of a job to select some 12 photos plus 1 for the cover picture from all the marvellous photos submitted by members onto the Gallery. It must be something like the “Sword of Domiciles” over one’s head! This year has produced a delightful festive, delightful and marvellous vista of photographs. W would go so far as to say, a vintage year!
