I have often been frustrated, puzzled and somewhat angered why it is when a celestial event occurs that clouds move in surreptiously to obscure such.  Why?   It seems to do such on cue!  Examples, a once in a life-time solar or lunar eclipse or a passing comet or astoriod, or a rare line up of the Moon and  planets, Venus, Jupiter and Mars.

      Any thoughts?

I use to get upset about the never seeing the Perseid meteor showers since  they arrive  at high monsoon times, then one August night a meteor came in and broke apart lighting up the clouds. Good enough for me.
