Michael finished Volume XXII of the Black&White thread. It still amazes me how B&W’s can inspire to make more of them. The fun will continue in this twenty third Volume!
Le me point this out: check the former Volume first before diving into this one.

Hans, a fresh new start. I may have seen a frog leg in your capture.

Haha, are you both pulling my leg, Ruth and Michael? Hereunder you can see the one who pointed out to check the former volume. Nice crab legs, Ruth. And the centipede by Michael looks to me like an angel’s wing. Love it.
Le me point this out: don’t pull my leg! -

A Whirlpool
-
September 23, 2023 at 4:17 am #584042Patricia L KeelinParticipant
Ah, I didn’t realize we’d reached the 100 mark in Volume XXII! But I see now, there was a beauty posted by Ruth even after. Definitely worth traveling back to catch her Black plus White equals Gray. It looks like the sky is raining light both near and far.
And on we go with XXIII with a fabulous—and humorous—start! Legs and wings… and does everyone see the pretty girl in Michael’s #232?
Another Study in Greys
-
October 2, 2023 at 4:38 am #584741Michael LerchParticipant
Thanks Keelin. When I took 232 i saw the lower wind shredded fractus with higher windblown contrail and whatever..didn’t see her until processing. ..with bangles in her hair..Take lots of pictures! Ya never know what works out. Your Greys looks like water color

-
October 9, 2023 at 1:54 am #585327Patricia L KeelinParticipant
You’re so right, Michael, about never knowing what will show up. And what a wild skyscape in #237! Might that be where Hans’s Crawling creature emerged from to make those (footprint?) holes in Ruth’s sky? I’m starting to get the Halloween heebie jeebies here!
My! My! What Have We Here?
PS: I see Billy was the star of Cloud of the Day today, Sunday 8 October, 2023. He certainly does get around for an old goat.
-
October 12, 2023 at 1:47 pm #585615Hans StockerParticipant
The veils make the composition perfect in #237, Michael.
Ruth your great distrail looks like footsteps in the snow.
My! My! What Have We Here? is hilarious, Keelin. And how could I miss Billy on the 8th of October? He is obviously having fun in the mountains of Tibet.

Timely warning about tomorrow’s hangover, Michael! I wouldn’t want my brain to look like the Opposite of Bubbles—another great reminder, Hans! And I didn’t even see that sneaky snake until you pointed him out.
It must be the approaching holiday that has me finding feasty food in these recent images with Arizona #242 inspiring a craving for mashed potatoes for a start. And yes, more bubbly, thanks Ruth!

Apparently Apple photo processing doesn’t use a grey scale in the B&W photo soft ware..which is another way of saying, if ya want something closer to analog B&W use Adobe Lightroom since they Do use a grey scale.
Another Apple processed photo below. The only way I have figured out how to work the BW issue with Apple is make it all one color then reduce saturation to zero as in 203 and 204. 205 and 206 were less successful. Below still has a Bluegreen tint to it.
