ParticipantAh, I didn’t realize we’d reached the 100 mark in Volume XXII! But I see now, there was a beauty posted by Ruth even after. Definitely worth traveling back to catch her Black plus White equals Gray. It looks like the sky is raining light both near and far.
And on we go with XXIII with a fabulous—and humorous—start! Legs and wings… and does everyone see the pretty girl in Michael’s #232?

ParticipantYou’re so right, Michael, about never knowing what will show up. And what a wild skyscape in #237! Might that be where Hans’s Crawling creature emerged from to make those (footprint?) holes in Ruth’s sky? I’m starting to get the Halloween heebie jeebies here!
My! My! What Have We Here?
PS: I see Billy was the star of Cloud of the Day today, Sunday 8 October, 2023. He certainly does get around for an old goat.

ParticipantThe Mist and The Crevice, Dress Rehearsal and The Worm have all set me up to find Michael’s energetic #238 adding to the buildup of a Happy Halloween mood. Toss in a little Dim Light and I am properly spooked! But hey, why not celebrate with a bit of bubbly? Cheers to you, my friends!

ParticipantTimely warning about tomorrow’s hangover, Michael! I wouldn’t want my brain to look like the Opposite of Bubbles—another great reminder, Hans! And I didn’t even see that sneaky snake until you pointed him out.
It must be the approaching holiday that has me finding feasty food in these recent images with Arizona #242 inspiring a craving for mashed potatoes for a start. And yes, more bubbly, thanks Ruth!

ParticipantThanks for your kind words, Michael. Love the dances in #187 and #188.
Wrapped in frozen cloud! Beautiful, Ruth.
PS: I’m wondering why CAS changed the membership Accounts page so that full names now appear with no access to changing one’s author name for posting? Hoping to hear back from Ian who has promised to look into it.

ParticipantRuth, I can feel the wind in Spread Sheet! And Michael, well I can’t help but see an amusing portrait of Wile E. Coyote in #190. Gotta smile.
Hans, I love the softness in your second to last and the burst of enegy in Flowering. I’ve not heard back from Ian yet, so maybe it’s not fixable (i.e., no way to have an alternate name for posting). Ah well!

* Just a note to longtime forum friends, Michael, Hans and Ruth: Although my participant name as it appears here cannot be changed according to CAS’s revised policy, my preference is still to go by just ‘Keelin’. Just sayin’. ;)

ParticipantLove that flying character in your Arizona #197, Michael. And #199 holds such mystery.
Ruth, I can almost feel the wind in Mile High. What a fine contrast between the wispy sweep and the rugged terrain.
And Hans, that Round Texture is like a portal opening… to what lies beyond? Perhaps a party with a…

ParticipantThanks for the comments on 199..even when I took the picture I knew I had to leave an amount for the viewer to finish..Nice bubbly Keelin .Ruth , starting off already what 6-7 thousand feet up the high cirrus just begging to be explored like that. Hans the mammatus looks like dabs of paint.

ParticipantApparently Apple photo processing doesn’t use a grey scale in the B&W photo soft ware..which is another way of saying, if ya want something closer to analog B&W use Adobe Lightroom since they Do use a grey scale.
Another Apple processed photo below. The only way I have figured out how to work the BW issue with Apple is make it all one color then reduce saturation to zero as in 203 and 204. 205 and 206 were less successful. Below still has a Bluegreen tint to it.
