2018 – Full Moons – January (blue Moon) and March but nothing in February

I have started populating my 2018 calendar with lots of appointments etc.
The thing I have noticed is this – in January and March there are for each month 2 full Moons, but nothing for February. Odd. I cannot recall something like this. Thus said, 31st January will see a very rare Blue Moon, skies permitting forecasted at 01.26 hrs GMT.
I hope the skies and clouds will permit good photography and good cloud watching.

Additional information to my earlier posting.
2018 sees two Blue Moons occurring – 31 January and 31 March. The last time two such Moons occurred was in 1999.
