Tommy Cobb (Member 58,879) spotted this mountain of Cumulus congestus cloud, in the foreground, with an even larger Cumulonimbus storm cloud beyond. He was looking south-east at sunset from Cloudland, Georgia, US. Yes, you read it right. The small community of Cloudland is situated on Lookout Mountain in Chattooga County. It began life in the late nineteenth century as a summer resort for wealthy visitors from Florida, Louisiana, and Alabama seeking refuge in the cool of the mountains from the sweltering summer heat.
