Can you spot the rare cloud formation hiding in the Stratocumulus sky over Cape Kimberley, Queensland, Australia? Scott Robard (Member 65,041) certainly did. The prize specimen is known as a horseshoe vortex cloud. It is a twisting curl that lasts for just a couple of minutes before disappearing again. Scott landed the rare catch while aboard his fishing boat. He stood to admire its classic horseshoe shape and released it back into the vast ocean of air.
