      Planet Venus – a hellish place by any measure with searing temperatures, continually cloaked in swirling unremitting clouds of sulphuric acid and acid rain.  Not exactly the Goddess of Love and peace as portrayed in music and poetry.

      But here is a very recent news item which shows that the clouds of Venus seem to hold possible life, elementary at that, in its hostile clouds.

      The Japanese Akatsuki robotic probe, orbiting Venus for several years, has detected biomarker Phosphine in the clouds swirling around Venus – building blocks of life.  Possibly life?!?
