Margaret Smyth, member 17515, recently told us about the extraordinary thunder and hailstorms in Australia in December.

CAS founder, Gavin Pretor-Pinney commented “the colour of recent hailstorm clouds over Sydney had a distinctive green colour. This colouration is something that has often been observed in particularly fierce hailstorms, but is still little understood”.
