This is specially for either Hans Stocker or Hygge – very regular contributors on the CAS Forum.

I hope the CAS will both forgive and yet allow me to post this.  I know it is a wee bit out of the way of the CAS’s remit.

I know that either Hans or Hygge has a special liking for planet Saturn.

Well, the NASA Cassini spacecraft has taken its final plunge into Saturn.  Even in its final throws it was still returning images of the celestial “Queen” of our solar system.

I think this image is a grand portrait.

Marvel and enjoy – as I did.

So clear, so clean, so cloudless, and from a citizen scientist too.

      Thanks, Laurence

Indeed I love the spectacular pictures produced by the NASA Cassini spacecraft of Saturn. This one is – like Hygge wrote – “so clear, so clean, so cloudless”. Graphic art in space!

      Thank you Laurence.

      Hygge & Hans,

My pleasure and I am most glad you liked the image of Saturn.

      Best wishes.

      Laurence
