Thank you Ginnie and Rebecca. To be clear: it may look like a rainbow, but it is surely a close-up of a peculiar sundog. What struck me were the distinct features of the curling clouds lighting up in the also distinct colors of the spectrum of a sundog. I was quite amazed by the way the sundog developped until it gradually vanished. I am happy to have had my camera by hand!
