Such an amazing mountain picture, Sabine!

I love the high mountains, whenever I get the opportunity to visit them in other developed countries. Just love the craggy, rocky majestic mountain peak scene which make up the expansive views between the German and Austrian Alps in this particular photo, with the fog slowly rising out of the valleys. Looks like a fine-weather summer scene in the picture. You were lucky that day. I am sure the weather can change quickly. Can imagine the blizzard-like conditions, with icy winds and heavy snow in the winter. Brrr! From Rebecca Hill, Canberra, Australia
