“A virga is a very beautiful fact that happens relatively often. Normally they are not noticed due to the illumination conditions They are well appreciated before sunset and after sunrise. But even in these moments they are well perceived during only a few minutes. These two pictures of the same formation were taken over Madrid before the sunset with only three minutes of difference among them.”
